ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Cathy Roldán a UGC Creator, Hotel Photographer, and Digital Business Strategist.

I was born in California, raised in Guatemala, and in 2015 I returned to the United States on my own, chasing new opportunities. Like many immigrants, my journey wasn’t easy. I started as a nanny, later transitioned into an administrative role at a CPA office, and quickly advanced to administrative assistant.

In 2017 I got married, and by 2018, becoming a mother inspired me to find ways to stay home while still building a career. That’s when I discovered network marketing, which allowed me to work from home and opened the doors to entrepreneurship.

​

By 2020, during the challenges of the pandemic, our family celebrated new blessings: the birth of our second child and the purchase of our first home. A year later, my husband and I took a leap of faith, leaving the 9–5 behind to launch our own business. By 2022, our company was thriving and, most importantly, gave us freedom of time as a family.

​​In 2023, I graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship.

That same year, I expanded my career into digital content creation. I work with hotels, resorts, restaurants, and travel brands to produce high-quality photography, UGC campaigns, and branded content that showcases unique guest experiences, highlights property amenities, and creates a strong digital presence. My goal is to deliver authentic, engaging visuals that inspire travelers while helping businesses grow their visibility and bookings online.

Alongside my creative work, I founded Smart Business Digital Solutions, a consulting and digital services company that helps small business owners especially Latino entrepreneurs establish and grow their online presence. Through website design, social media strategy, AI tools, and content marketing, I empower businesses to scale, attract more clients, and compete in today’s digital economy.

Traveling is one of my greatest passions. I love discovering hidden gems, exploring cultures, and capturing experiences through my lens. My content combines a traveler’s curiosity with a marketer’s strategy, helping brands connect with audiences in a way that feels both personal and aspirational.
